Four New Roles

At VESTEDin™, our work is rooted in deep respect for nonprofit leaders and the complexity of the systems they steward. As our programs grow, we’re thankful to open four thoughtfully designed roles to support this work in the coming year.


Each role reflects how we believe work should be structured: with clarity, care, and sustainability—for the organizations we serve and the people doing the work.


We’re currently hiring for:

  • (2) Senior Capacity Coaches, contract-1099, cohort-based
  • (1) Cohort Learning and Facilitation Lead, part-time, W-2, potentially eligible for group health insurance
  • (1) Changemaker Grove Cohort Community Lead, part-time, W-2, potentially eligible for group health insurance

Frequently Asked Questions

These roles are designed for experienced nonprofit and capacity-building professionals who value clarity, boundaries, and depth of contribution over volume or constant availability. Each role is intentionally structured to support sustainability—for both the people doing the work and the organizations we serve.


They are not entry-level roles or stepping stones.


No.
All four roles are intentionally not full-time.

  • Senior Capacity Coaches are contract (1099), cohort-based roles averaging 8–10 hours per month.
  • Cohort Learning & Facilitation Lead and the Changemaker Grove Cohort Community Lead are part-time W-2 roles, averaging 20–25 hours per week. 


Each role includes transparent expectations about time commitment, pacing, and peak periods.


The classification reflects the nature of the work and level of integration into VESTEDin™ operations.

  • Senior Capacity Coaches operate as independent professionals contributing judgment and experience within a defined system. 
  • Learning and CMG Leads are part-time employees embedded in ongoing program operations, coordination, and delivery.


This distinction is intentional and aligned with how the work is designed—not a reflection of importance or impact.


  • Part-time W-2 roles may be eligible for a group health insurance contribution if the employee consistently works 20+ hours per week. 
  • The Senior Capacity Coach (1099) role does not include employee benefits but does include a cohort completion bonus.

Compensation ranges are provided transparently in each job description and are commensurate with experience and role scope.


We aim to be fair, clear, and respectful of senior-level experience while maintaining sustainability within nonprofit systems. Final compensation decisions consider experience, alignment, and cohort or program needs.


It depends on the role.

  • Senior Capacity Coaches and part-time W-2 roles may be based outside of Houston.
  • Some roles require periodic in-person participation in the Greater Houston area, which is clearly noted in the job descriptions.
  • Required travel is planned and supported in accordance with VESTEDin™ travel and reimbursement policies.

VESTEDin™’s work is organizational capacity-building, grounded in systems, sequencing, and implementation—not individual performance coaching, consulting projects, or therapeutic support.
